Where are your pet beds made?

What is your lead time?
Our current lead time until shipment is approximately 10 business days from the date you place your order. Please note that this lead time is an approximation and might take longer due to multiple variables, including but not limited to fabric availability.

What shipping methods do you use?
We ship most of our orders via FedEx Home Delivery. On larger orders, we may have to ship via LTL truck carrier. Please note that we cannot ship to P.O. Boxes. All fabric samples are mailed using USPS standard post.

Does HeroPetBeds.com offer expedited shipping?
Unfortunately we do not offer expedited shipping due to the extremely high cost. Even though our products do not weigh much, they are extremely bulky, causing the shipping rates to skyrocket on expedited shipping.

Will I be notified when my order ships?
Yes, once your order is shipped from our manufacturing facility, you will be receiving an email notifying you of shipment. In this email, you will have either FedEx ground tracking number or LTL truck carrier PRO number so you can track your shipment.

Do your pet beds come with zippers?
Yes, all of our boxed style pet beds come with zippers. All other products including pillows and crate pads are sewn shut using clear monofilament thread.

Can I order fabric samples or fabric yardage?
Sure, fabric samples and yardage can be purchased when viewing our fabric selection. Once you select a fabric you are interested in, you will see an option to purchase either a fabric sample or fabric yardage. You will be able to add a fabric sample to your shopping cart or input the quantity of yardage you wish to purchase at this stage. All fabric samples will be mailed via USPS standard post. Please note that fabric yardage is sold per linear yard (54"X36").

When will I be charged?
Due to the nature of our business and all of our products being either custom made to your specifications or made to order, your credit card will be charged in full within 24 hours of the order being placed.

Due to all of our products being either custom made or made to order, we are unable to accept returns and all sales are final.

Are your pet beds waterproof or mold and mildew proof?
Our pet beds are not waterproof, however they are water resistant. All of our acrylic fabrics and filling do not promote the growth of mold or mildew. If kept clean, our pet beds will not mold or mildew. Mold and mildew can grow on dirt that has accumulated on fabric, so we highly suggest keeping your pet beds clean and free of any dirt or debris.

What type of fabric do you use?
We primarily use Sunbrella 100% solution-dyed acrylic for our pet beds. Solution-dying is a manufacturing process where color is added to melted acrylic. This allows Sunbrella material to lock in color and resist stains and discoloration in even the harshest of weather.

Can I cancel or make changes to my order?
If you need to cancel or make a change to your order, we must be notified immediately. We must be notified of a cancellation or change within 1 (one) business day of the order date. Because your order is custom made or made to order, we will not be able cancel or make any changes to your order after 1 (one) business day.

Can I get a quote before I place my order?
Absolutely! All you need to do is add the products and quantity you are interested in purchasing into your shopping cart and you will be able to see the prices for each of the products and the total shipping amount.

What type of cleaning solutions do I use to clean my Sunbrella pet bed?
We recommend lukewarm water with mild detergent for cleaning.

How often do I need to clean my pet bed?
HeroPetBeds.com suggests a light cleaning on a monthly basis to keep your pet bed like new. A thorough cleaning is required on a bi-yearly basis (every 2 years).

How can I maximize the life of my pet bed?
To maximize the life of your pet bed, we suggest keeping them clean and free of any dirt. In addition, we suggest making sure your pet doesn't start chewing on the bed. If your pet starts to chew on your new pet bed, please remove the bed from your pets access and slowly re-introduce the bed to your pet at a later time. Keep an eye on your pet until you are confident to leave them alone with the bed without any chewing.

Does HeroPetBeds.com charge sales tax?
HeroPetBeds.com only charges sales tax to orders shipping to California. The current tax rate we must charge for all orders shipping to California is 9.00%.

Will I receive an order confirmation once my order is placed?
Yes! Once your order is placed, you will automatically be emailed a copy of your order to the email address you provide us. If you do not see an order confirmation email in your inbox, please check your spam or junk mail folder.

Does HeroPetBeds.com offer a warranty?
Yes! Our pet beds are covered under a limited warranty for a period of sixty (60) days from the date of order. Warranty coverage includes the pet bed being unserviceable or unusable due to manufacturing defects or workmanship under normal usage. This warranty excludes normal wear and tear, normal care and cleaning, damage from misuse and/or abuse and staining. This warranty also explicitly excludes damage due to chewing, biting, scratching or any damage caused by any pet. This warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is not transferable.
